Moskva/København, 15. august 2012 – Kaspersky Lab lancerer nu Kaspersky Security Scan (KSS) – et nyt, gratis værktøj, der kontrollerer sikkerheden på din pc. KSS er ideelt til brugere, som ikke allerede har et antivirusprogram installeret eller er i tvivl om, hvorvidt deres nuværende sikkerhedssoftware lever op til deres forventninger, og derfor ønsker en ekstra vurdering. Programmet er let at installere og virker sideløbende med andre installerede antivirusprogrammer.

Kaspersky Lab og Seculert afslører “Madi” – et nyt tilfælde af cyberangreb til spionage i Mellemøsten

København, 17. juli 2012 – Kaspersky Labs eksperter afslører nu resultaterne af en undersøgelse, foretaget i samarbejde med Seculert, der er specialiseret i identificering af avancerede sikkerhedstrusler, omkring “Madi” – et aktivt cyberangreb til spionage af virksomheder i Mellemøsten. Seculert var først til at identificere Madi, der infiltrerer netværk af computere med en ondsindet trojaner, som spredes via målrettede angreb.

Kaspersky Lab og Seculert har arbejdet tæt sammen om at “sinkhole” Madis Command & Control-servere (C&C) for at kunne overvåge angrebene. I løbet af processen har Kaspersky Lab og Seculert identificeret mere end 800 angreb målrettet især virksomheder i Iran, Israel og andre udvalgte lande, der har været forbundet med C&C-serverne igennem de sidste otte måneder.
