The appointments reflect Kaspersky Lab’s commitment to strengthening its enterprise business, and coincide with the launch of two major product upgrades to help business customers address the security challenges of new technologies. The company’s enterprise business grew by 37 per cent in 2010, well above the market average, leading to recognition by Gartner* of Kaspersky Lab as one of the world’s top ten and fastest growing vendors in the global security software market.
Simon Bardrick has joined from Sun Microsystems to take up the role of Director of Global Web Publishing and Operations. He will report to Andreas Schneble, Head of Digital Marketing. B2B Marketing is strengthened by the appointment of Katja Meyer, formerly of VMware, as Director of B2B Marketing for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Sandro Aglialoro as Manager of B2B Marketing Italy. Both will report to John Malatesta, Vice President of Field Marketing B2B Western Europe and North America.
Simon Bardrick will be responsible for developing and executing Kaspersky Lab’s global web publishing model, managing the web teams across the European region and ensuring Kaspersky Lab’s corporate websites continue to meet customer and product needs.
Katja Meyer and Sandro Aglialoro will focus on developing and executing the B2B marketing end-users strategy and plan for the DACH and Italy regions.
